Breaking News. We Are Now WBENC Certified!

AllStar Renovations, Inc. is proud to announce that we have recently been certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) through the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the nation’s leading third-party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women.

Our certification is a significant milestone in our journey towards fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within our industry and beyond; while expanding networking opportunities with other WBENC firms, to better service all our partners.

The WBENC Certification process has confirmed that our business is at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by a woman or women, and has the appropriate structure and strategic business planning and implementation in place.

By including women-owned businesses among their suppliers, corporations and government stakeholders demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier diversity programs, which in turn empowers women as leaders and brings about a more diverse, balanced and sustainable economy.

AllStar Renovations, Inc. provides the U.S. marketplace with installation solutions for wide-format graphics, rigid-signage, pasted Type II wallcovering, upscale residential wallcovering materials for commercial environments, architectural films, and commercial painting services.

Gina Gillette

Owner, Co-founder and President

Gina has conducted almost 6,000 property inspections, walkthroughs, site-surveys, and has received several O.S.H.A certifications. Consequently, Gina understands the inherent requirements that graphics and wallcovering installation projects in real estate life-cycle and development projects call for.

Gina earned her MBA at the University of Maryland and is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Springfield, Cum Laude.

Gina holds the City of Chicago (permit-required) Supported and Suspended Scaffold User & Erector Hazards and Fall Protection Training Card ( OSHA 1926 Subpart “L”), and is a EPA Lead Safety-Certified Renovator.

AllStar Renovations, Inc. is an EPA Lead-Safe certified renovation firm.

In September 2014 Gina Gillette received the following accreditations from the Wallcovering Installers Association ( Formerly, the National Guild of Professional Paperhangers), at their annual conference:

  • This year,  Gina’s two-hour class covered the changing marketplace of the Chicagoland construction industry from the standpoint of the small woman and minority-owned firm.
  • Gina also stressed the importance of pre-planning an owner’s business response to family-oriented major life events and the potential impacts on the small firm’s sustainability.
